About Me

By day I work in the international development sector, by night I’m a rabble enthusiast.

Recently diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) after many years of dealing with clinical depression and anxiety which is still ongoing.

I’ve created this blog primarily to muse, inform and educate about mental health; combining personal opinion/experience alongside facts pulled from reputable sources (i.e. Mind, NHS, Rethink).

My ideal would be for mental health to no longer be viewed as a ‘dirty word’. For those suffering with mental health issues to no longer feel ashamed and able to speak about their issues without judgement.

This blog has also become a fantastic coping mechanism for myself in my recovery, I hope to bring a ‘real-person’ perspective to mental health, with just a smidge of cheek and humour!

A little more about myself;

I work full-time for an international development charity in communications, alumni and events after volunteering in India with them back in 2012.

I help run FEROX Clothing which is an independent clothing label, the brainchild of best friend Jade; a brand that promotes cruelty-free animal inspired fabrics.

You can sometimes find me in front of the camera, I model (albeit rather irregularly these days).
